Design and Install services
Design principle of the 1887 First of Forth Cantilever bridge. Mr. Baker and Mr. Fowler (architects) support Japanese-Sottish engineer Mr. Watanabe. Almost 140 years later its carrying up to 200 trains a day.
Electrical design principles are based upon the load a specific cable size/type can carry under specified conditions to operate safely and reliably for its working life. The first Edition of Electrical regulations was published in 1882. We now work to the 18th Edition, published 2022.
Electrical Design and Install work, is completed for a system too cope with location specific conditions, such as ambient temperature and humidity level variations, dust, physical knocks, and so on.

An often overlooked side is future ease of maintenance, repair and upgrade, really important for future costs.

We have inspected good quality installations and found them still operating safely and to specification 40 years later, proving thoughtful design is very good value for money.

The aesthetic side also important, especially regarding lighting design.
All new electrical work must be designed, installed and tested in a specific way to maximise value for money through safety and reliability. From a small circuit extension, to a rewire, to the National Grid ! Safety and reliability is King, in this industry.
An extreme example of the opposite of this is contries in the world, whole cities have regular blackouts..every few weeks...making running a business very expensive, with associated safety risks from 'power out'.
